Police Academy Yearly Intake

 The Lurdentanian Imperial Police Service Academy (LIPSA) has opened for its annual semester of recruits for the year of 2022. The Imperial Police Service (consisting of the GSD and the SSD) is one of the most difficult bodies of the state to enter itno, with an acceptance rate of around 40%. 

The LIPSA is a 10 week course, with every week the academy meeting on a Sunday, and on the 3rd, 5th and 10th week, the academy meets from Friday night through to Sunday Afternoon. The program includes multiple different subjects for specialisation, like Law Enforcement Combat, Law Enforcement Administration, Special Training Education, Police Education Training and many other subjects taught throughout the course.

For students to pass the LIPSA, they must recieve a total score of 80 or more, with each of the 10 subjects being worth 10 points. Within the academy, 6 of the Subjects are core subjects (meaning picked for you, depending on the tier of the academy) and the remaining 4 are specialty subjects for the student to pick based off there plans in the force. 

The three tiers of the LIPSA include Basic Training (for GSD aspiring officers), Special Training (for SSD aspiring officers) and Advanced Training for officers and commanders of either force. The three tiers have differing core subjects.

The LIPSA Director, Assistant Commissioner Lord Harrison C. announced the candidates for the second term ever of the LIPSA courses, with Basic Training, Special Training and Advanced Training all being up for offer.

Basic Training saw a total of 8 applications, with 3 being accepted (Mr. Charlie C., Mr. Talon W. and Madam Alison E.), Special Training saw a total of 5 applications with 1 being accepted (Baroness Lady Kay. L.) and Advanced Training seeing one applicant and student (Acting Sr. Sergeant Baroness Rubi to secure her position,) 

The LIPSA term 2 launch comes after Prime Minister Katrina C. announced her intention to offer a payrise to all members of the public service, raising hte minimum wage of Lurdentanians employed by the public and private sectors of Lurdentania to 500LM per hour ($5 AUD), with alot more upwards progression expected:
