Death of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom

 On the morning of the Ninth of September, 2022, His Imperial Majesty was informed of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the longest reigning monarch in British History, one who dedicated her life to the success of her people and the success of her country. 

His Imperial Majesty immediately entered a zoom call with cabinet members from the interim Katrina VI Government (election occured), and announced a period of national mourning for 3 days, until the 12th of September. Because of this period of Mourning, our Imperial Majesty has commanded the Lurdentanian Electoral Commission to delay the release of the September 2022 election results until the 12th, so that the relative period of mourning could be fully observed.

In addition, H.I.M released the following statement:


Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second was a humble and good-willed servant of the people of the United Kingdom and the commonwealth. Her dedication to country was unwavering and incomparisonable. May she rest in peace, and may the commonwealth countries chorus in proclaiming ''God Bless the Queen. Long Live the King!".
